The SEAGOSS (“Information, warning, and management system for sea water pollution from oil slick and sediments,” 2012-2014) project focuses on monitoring, warning and forecasting seawater pollution caused by oil slicks and suspended matter in coastal areas due to human activities. The aim of the project is to develop an integrated management system based on remote sensing data and on transport modeling as a support to pollution detection and monitoring.
